You know that moment when banana bread comes out of the oven and suddenly you’re “just having one slice” even though we both know that’s a lie?
Yeah. We created that in a cocktail.
Meet the Banana Bread Baddie—a rich, creamy coffee cocktail made with Mario’s Hard Espresso, spiced rum, banana, cold brew, and just enough cardamom to keep things interesting.
Banana Bread Baddie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Mario’s Hard Espresso
- 1 oz spiced rum
- 1 oz Ole Smoky’s Banana Pudding
- 1/4 oz REAL Banana Puree Syrup
- 2 oz cold brew
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 dashes of cardamom bitters
Directions:
- Add everything to a shaker with ice.
- Shake it up until nice and chilled.
- Pour over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a brûléed banana slice.
Why You’ll Want Another
Mario’s brings the deep espresso flavor, while banana pudding and banana syrup make things rich, creamy, and just sweet enough. Spiced rum brings the warmth, cold brew keeps that coffee kick going, and cardamom bitters add a little intrigue.
That pinch of salt? Trust us. It makes all those flavors pop.
And then there’s the brûléed banana—because if you’re going to make banana bread into a cocktail, you might as well make it extra fancy.
When to Make One
After dinner. On a cozy night in. When dessert sounds good but a cocktail sounds better.
Basically, whenever you’re feeling a little sweet… with a little kick.
Go ahead. Shake up the Banana Bread Baddie.
